The aging cellar of the "Cianta"

After a short tour of the enchanting square of the Municipality of San Sebastiano Curone, directly from a small porch overlooking, we will enter a narrow door and descend into the aging cellar of the Salumeria La Nuova Valle, where Fabio Zanotti, for all around here “Il Cianta”, rests, for months and sometimes for years, his masterpieces: the Salame Nobili del Giarolo of his production.

Produced entirely by hand only with the noblest parts of the pig, these cured meats are bagged, sewn and left to mature for a very long time and it seems that time is always on their side, helping to exalt the scents and the unmistakable aroma that only wineries like these, at constant and natural temperature and humidity, can give them.

"The Vertical Tasting of Salame Nobile del Giarolo"

After arriving in this place immersed in a magical atmosphere and populated with fantastic products, we will find our table perfectly set and here we will do our tasting of Salame Nobile del Giarolo of the Salumeria La Nuova Valle of various vintages and with different degrees of aging, a delicacy with a unique taste and very high quality, that rarely you will have happened to taste. Seeing is believing!

Wine, Honey and Cheese Tasting

In combination with cured meats, there will be a tasting of wonderful local cheeses such as the excellent Montebore accompanied by honey from local companies and the excellent wines of Az. Agr. I Carpini, which produces among others Colli Tortonesi Timorasso DOC and Colli Tortonesi Barbera DOC.

The gnocchi of the historic restaurant "Corona"

We will end with a delicious plate of gnocchi prepared by the historic “Corona” Restaurant of San Sebastiano Curone, a place closely linked with the tradition of the place, its products and its excellences, all translated into well-kept and tasty dishes even since 1702, when the Fontana Family, the same that still manages the restaurant, opened the restaurant.
