We will start from the headquarters of the Enoteca Regionale Colline Alfieri and cycle to the Ca’ Colomba Farmhouse where, in a sea of vineyards open at 360°, we will do our first tasting of native wines, produced by the Franco Giacinto Winery, that for years has been working and cultivating vines with passion on these hills, where Barbera d’Asti DOCG, Nebbiolo and Arneis are the masters.
A few kilometers in a beautiful landscape and we will reach the Azienda Agricola Conti Nuvoli di Grinzane, where in an ancient and fascinating location we can taste the excellent wines of the estate, such as the Barbera d’Asti DOCG, the flagship product of the Company. Here we will enjoy the refined and elegant environment of the building that hosts us and the amazing view that opens to our eyes, immersed in the history of the Noble Family of Conti Nuvoli.
But it will already be time to resume the road that will return through the village and then climb the hill from the opposite side, continuing for a short stretch that will reach the first hill and finally the ridge.
Here the path will continue to the small church of San Luigi, located in the township with the same name, where the eye spans on the verdant valley below.
We will find ourselves here at the crossroads of three local wineries: Pianchè, Ferrero Ettore and Val Serra, which will offer to the guests the excellent wines of local production in front of a breathtaking view, a 360° view that ranges from the nearby village and reaches, on sunny days, the crown of the Alps.
After a short ride we will arrive at Ponte Ballerine Farm, further down, where we will have the opportunity to taste the excellent honey and hazelnuts of own production.
We will leave, for the next destination, breathing the scents of the season, which change at every step and smell of leaves, earth and fruits, we will pass by the Big Bench and after a panoramic and suggestive stretch we will return to the starting point, the Regional Wine Shop Colline Alfieri, where we will live a new wonderful experience through an excellent tasting of local wines!
A suggestive tour by e-bike suitable for everyone that, thanks to the continuous gradual differences in height, opens to breathtaking views now on different side of the hills, illustrating and proposing all the kinds of Piedmont landscapes, herbs and fruits that traditional cuisine has always used, transforming them into dishes and preserves with a unique flavor.
